E!: From what we see on social media, it’s clear that you juggle a lot and often seem to be multitasking. Can you share why this approach is such an important part of your daily routine?
GG: That’s being a mom and it's a new skill I picked up recently. Before, I literally had all the time in the world—I could take a one-hour shower or bath, and I always made it a priority.
E!: How has your approach to self-care evolved since becoming a parent?
GG: When I was pregnant, I would post my "Get Ready With Me" videos and people would say, “Enjoy it. You’re never gonna be able to get ready again. That's when I made it my priority to do my self-care while cooking or something else productive.
Anablue Treatment Oil
"Putting oil in your hair takes two minutes, but it does so much for you. And then at the end of the day, you look back and think, “Wow, I fed the baby, made dinner, did a hot oil treatment on my hair, and got my work done.”
More from Giannina: "It’s a little extra, but it goes a long way when you make it part of your routine. You turn around and realize, 'I did something for everyone in the family, but I also did something for me,' which is hard to balance."
Comfier Electric Cordless Hair Scalp Massager
"This is the simplest, coolest hack I’ve found, especially since I’m on this postpartum hair loss recovery routine. You go on TikTok, and you see all these tips. One that stood out to me was massaging your scalp to get circulation and blood flow going."
More from Giannina: "The tool definitely helps. I’m a mom, so I need things to be efficient. If I just put it on, turn it to high speed, and five minutes later, I’m done. It’s really been working for me. You just want to get circulation going in your scalp, and it does two things in one—massage and circulation."
Anablue Hair Serum
"I really like going for brands that specifically have a scalp care line because that’s where healthy hair comes from—the scalp. Anablue has a really beautiful scalp care line with the hair oil, serums, and a scalp cleanser you use in the shower."
More from Giannina: "You can get a trim, but it’s all about the scalp. I mean, I’m made up of 99% dry shampoo, so I need to detoxify and get a clear canvas, if you will. That’s my little trick."
E!: Looking back at your pregnancy, were there any self-care practices that really helped you and might be useful for expecting moms?
GG: During my pregnancy, I used a lot of oils and moisturizers on my belly to avoid postpartum stretch marks. I’d just lather it on.
Bio-Oil Skincare Oil
"I didn’t get a single stretch mark, and it worked just as well as a $60 bottle—just that little combo. I ordered like four of them during my pregnancy."

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Skin Therapy Cocoa Butter Body Lotion
"If you're not ready to invest in a pricier bottle (because you need multiples, especially since you're dousing yourself from neck to thighs), the best combo I found was Bio-Oil mixed with Palmer's Cocoa Butter from the pump."
Hatch Belly Oil
"I started with organic oils, but that stained my clothes, so then I switched to the Hatch belly oil, which I loved, but it’s pretty expensive."
E!: Aside from your hair, what other post-pregnancy beauty changes have you been navigating?
GG: Before, I had time to do my full skincare routine—the seven steps, all of that. Now, I have to wake up at the crack of dawn while everyone’s still sleeping and go full Cassie from Euphoria before school.
The night shed is real, and the double chin thing, too. Heath literally saw me wear my double chin mask the other night.
Rowmate V Line Lifting Mask Chin Strap for Sleeping
"I don’t always have time to take care of my skin during the day. It just needs to work while I’m sleeping. Again, it’s all about multitasking."
Stylia V-Line Lifting Collagen Face Mask
For the best results in targeting a double chin, use this overnight underneath a chin strap to keep it securely in place and maximize its lifting effects.

Eadem Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum With Niacinamide and Vitamin C
"Post-pregnancy, I’m dealing with more hyperpigmentation due to hormones. I use spot treatments for the hyperpigmentation. This one is milky. I’ve used a lot of different ones, but I think this one is a little stronger."
Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Correcting Serum
"Kiehl's has a great serum for hyperpigmentation that I've been using"
E!: It’s winter, and especially being in Denver, you’re probably all about hydration.
GG: Yes, we live in Colorado, which is super dry. I live on Burt's Bees lip balm, and I also love Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream. I get Kiehl's for Blake. For the baby, I use Aquaphor. Everyone in the house is moisturized.
We want to stay cute, so I love Clarins lip oils, Gisou lip oil, and Dior lip oil. I always have a lip oil on me. In Colorado, my lips always get chapped.

E!: You've got hydration down with body products and lip oils—how do you make sure you're staying hydrated from the inside out? Do you have a favorite tumbler or water bottle you rely on?
GG: I love the Brumate because it doesn’t spill.
BruMate Era 40 oz Tumbler
"I don’t go to sleep without it. I wake up, and the first thing I do is take a sip of water—it's better than coffee. And the Brumates are really cute."
Stanley Quencher H2.0 Tumbler
"Let's get real basic here. We also have like 17 Stanleys, and they're all different colors. Everyone in our family has their own designated color, so I know whose is whose."
E!: Which beauty products have been a staple in your routine for the longest time?
GG: As far as makeup goes, one thing that I always wore that came back in style is tinted lip balm. Do you remember using that? Now, everything is a tinted lip balm, but it’s just more elevated, something that has just evolved. I cannot live without it.
Body-wise, the L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil. I have had that since high school. And I was like “Oh my god, I can only use a little bit because it’s expensive.”
Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm
"It's a tinted lip balm in a very 90s brown. It’s the most gorgeous color. I have to have this with me at all times. The tinted lip balm came back with a vengeance."
L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil
"I’ve used it since high school. It’s tried and true, it’s yummy. It cleanses, but doesn’t make you feel greasy. It smells delicious. Every time, I walk out of the shower, I feel just like a little bit a little bit extra, extra nice. It’s like, 'You can touch me now, I have finally showered.'"
More from Giannina: "When you use it, it lathers up so nicely. I just love it. L’Occitane is a French brand, so their products are just cleaner because their standards are different. You don’t realize how much stuff you’re putting into your body and then once you have kids, you care about that more."

E!: Are there any viral products you tried for yourself that live up to the hype?
GG: There are two things. McCo Beauty. My algorithm went crazy with that, with their dupes. You know that viral pink Dior lip balm that’s sold out all the time? McCo Beauty has one that looks like the same thing.
I also get a lot of beauty books with recipes for remedies. Once you’re pregnant, you want to go a little bit more organic, a little more holistic. So, I turn to a book's recipe before anything chemical.
MCoBeauty Glow Up PH Lip Balm
"It’s amazing. It’s so cheap and it’s fantastic."

$18MCoBeautyOrganic Body Care: 101 Homemade Beauty Products Recipes by Gabrielle Landreau
"I've found a lot of great books that are like what I used to enjoy when I was little. I would have a banana mask on my face from a recipe in my little beauty book."
Ideayard Rose Quartz Mask Size: 640x640
"This is one of my favorite things from Amazon. Tiny things like that can help you feel better and prioritize yourself. You matter, and that’s something I’ve always been passionate about because it really helps with my mental health."
E!: Do you ever struggle to make time for self-care?
GG: You just need to know that you matter too. You’re just as important as everything else. Once you get that mindset, everything else becomes a little bit easier.
E!: What advice do you have for someone who has trouble prioritizing self-care?
GG: It is about starting small. You don’t have to invest in a $300 LED mask. Little things go a long way.
When I became a mom, I started feeling guilty about taking those five minutes for myself, even for just washing my hair sometimes.
It's important to lean on your partner and make sure they understand and support your priorities. Luckily, Blake gets it. He says, "I want you to have your hour and a half every single morning to work out and do your thing."
Once you start getting into a routine you will find a way to do it faster and better. Then, you get it done and you feel better and you have more motivation for consistency.
